Squirrels in the Attic
May, 2011 - For the second time in recent months, it seems the pastor and secretary have not been the only residents in the F&MC attic. While they are only part time residents, two families of squirrels had taken up full time residence. These are the second and third families to take up resicence in the last sevaral months. One family was removed/relocated by the exterminators last fall. A member of that family wreck havic on the on the carpet leading into the office as the squirrel desperately tried to get back into the office while being locked out. This time around, one very young squirrel had to be removed from inside the inner working of the kitchen stove. Unfortunately, removing the squirrels has come at a cost of $800 each incident for a total of $1,600. Obviously money that could have been better used on any number of awaiting projects. Please give generously.
