Sunday School

At the UMC Savage, we feel Christian education and family programs are of the utmost importance, especially because there are so many young families in our community. Our Adult Sunday School class runs from 9:15 to 9:50 a.m. (before worship service).

As to Children's Sunday School, our families worship together for the beginning part of the service. Following the Children's Sermon, the children go to their Sunday School classes while the adults remain for the rest of the Worship Service. Children's Sunday School usually runs from around 10:20 until 11:00 a.m. Children 2 through and including first grade are not released from their classrooms until a parent or guardian picks them up.

Our Sunday School offers classes for children, youth and adults.

• 2 thru 5 Year Olds, K thru 1^st Grade
• 2^nd and 3^rd Grade
• 4^th and 5^th Grade
• 6^th, 7^th and 8^th Grade  (Middle School)
• 9^th thru 12^th Grade (High School)
• Adult Class

Age groups assigned to the rooms shown have changed in the last 50 years. Please check the bulletin board inside the Fellowship Hall for the latest classroom assignments.
